Bookmarks
What Are Bookmarks?
Bookmarks let you save any interesting web pages, articles, tools or resources right here on the JumpUp.com site. And because they are stored on this web site, you can access them from any computer with an internet connection. Furthermore, you can share your saved bookmarks with other JumpUp.com users and benefit from those saved by others.
How Do I Create a Bookmark?
The simplest way to save a bookmark is to click on the "Save a booksmark" link on the left menu. There you will see 4 fields that you can fill out:
- URL: This is the web address of the page you are trying to bookmark. You can either type it in or copy and paste from the browser.
- Title: This text will be used to name the page you've just bookmarked. It will also be a web link that you and others will be able to click on to go directly to that web page.
- My Notes: This text will be displayed under the title, and provides the opportunity to tell yourself and others a little bit more about the page you're saving.
- Tags: Enter some descriptive words or short phrases about this bookmarked page that will help you and others find it again later. Make sure to separate the words or phrases by using commas.
