A tag is a short descriptive phase or keyword that you can assign to a page or article. Tags may not contain quotation marks/double quotes ("). You may assign as many tags to a page as you wish, and you may add, delete, rename, or merge tags together.
Tagging allows you to choose the categories or keywords associated with the items you save. If you wish to post an article on tax preparation for small businesses, you might tag it with "taxes accountants planning" or whatever other tags you want to use to locate the article again. You can just make up tags as you need them.
Tagging is great for organizing your personal data, but it becomes even more powerful when others post related content with the same tags. this will allow you to build a dynamically generated collaborative grouping of related information, guided by your personal interests. For example, to view all the tags on taxes, visit http://jumpup.intuit.com/bookmarks_for_tag_recent/tag.taxes.
That's alright. You will probably get it after you do it a few times. It takes a bit of practice to fully get the hang of it. Just try it out and see. Don't worry, you won't break anything.
