Transitioning from a 9-5 desk job that Matt worked at for over 10 years (in various positions-no pun intended) to his own company required a short term adjustment and refinement of his routine.

After the honeymoon phase of quiting his desk job and setting up the last of the foundation for his business, it soon became apparent that being his own boss leant a certain amount of flexibility. Many variables go into having a successful business. One of which is managing balance across various demands. Therefore life structure is required in the flexible nature of owning a small business. Matt has refined a well rounded structure that tries to optimize business efficiency, yet provides time for family/ friends and downtime. Owning a business can easily consume the owner to the point of burnout. Matt actively set goals for life balance as part of his overall business plan.
